University Records

University Records is responsible for implementing consistent records management throughout ANU and providing advice and training to all staff. Information generated and received by ANU staff in the course of conducting business on behalf of ANU is a record and should be captured by an authorised recordkeeping system.

Electronic Records Management System (ERMS)

The University's Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) securely stores digital records providing improved access to records and enhanced sharing of information. The ERMS incorporates the ANU Business Classification Scheme which provides a framework for filing and retrieving digital records.

ERMS training

Face-to-face and online training on the Electronic Records Management System is available to all staff.

A Power User Workshop (PDF:76.8KB) has been developed to provide instruction, guidance and discussion regarding the process of creating and managing the ERMS folder structure in business areas.
